2 glass of sugar

4 glass of water

2 glass of semolina

1 cup of virgin olive oil

1 cup of almonds or walnuts

2 tablespoons of powdered cinnamon

Directions:

Heat the oil in the pan in high temperature (5 out of 6). Add the semolina and stir well with a wooden spoon till it becomes brownish.

Meanwhile, add in another pan the water and the sugar to boil for 10 minutes.

Once semolina is ready, add the syrup and stir continuously in a lower heat (3 out of 6) till it becomes thick, about 10 minutes. Add the almonds or walnuts place it in a bowl. Add on top the cinnamon and a few ground nuts.

Once cool it is ready to serve

Tip:

This is a very easy and quick recipe that I was always involved in the preparation. Your kids will really love it! What I liked most was instead of putting the mix in a bowl, using the tablespoons and make small pieces of the cake that could be eaten on the spot!
