Ingredients:
1 kilo of pears
750 grams of sugar
1 ½ lemon
300 grams of water

Directions:
Clean and cut the pears in pieces. Place them in a jam full of water and add the juice of a lemon for one hour.
After, we boil them for 15 minutes. When ready we take them out and place them in a bowl with cold water for 5 minutes and then dry them in a colander.
We prepare the syrup by adding the 300 grams of water and the sugar and we let it boil for 10 minutes and we place the pears in the pan to boil for 5-6 minutes. We remove the pan from the heat, cover it and we repeat it for two consecutive times, preferably for the next two days.
Once finished we add the rest of the lemon juice and we put it in a jam. After two days it is ready to serve.
Tip:
The fresh fruits play an important role in this recipe. You may add other fruits as well, as orange, grapefruit etc.
