Ingredients:                                        


2 kilos of Fish

8 cups Water

3 onions, sliced

6 diced carrots

8 diced potatoes

1 celery, chopped  

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1/2 cup olive oil

1 lemon



Directions:


Clean and wash the fish. Cut into thick slices.

Put the water into a pan and bring to a boil. Add the vegetables, except potatoes, salt and pepper. Boil for 40 minutes at high temperatures (4 out of 6). Reduce heat to simmering point; add the pieces of fish and potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add the olive oil. Let it for 5 minutes, add the lemon juice, mix well and is ready to be served


Tip:


This dish is very well accompanied with Greek salad. Try it with lots of fresh pepper and if you are able use fresh fish.
